@tinker@infosec.exchange @avuko@infosec.exchange @anneoneam@mastodon.online I believe it is often an unintentional conversation stopper. It's often intended as a useful contribution or emotional reaction, but may also be derisive or dismissive. This happens a lot.

@iris@neuromatch.social @avuko@infosec.exchange @anneoneam@mastodon.online - Yeah, Indeed! During in person conversations it can be used as an expression of mutual exasperation and agreement, right? In online conversations I see it often used as a "so what? what's new? who cares? you're stupid if you didnt already know this" from reply-guys. So I want to make sure I understand the intent behind the reply here.
