Realized the game I was playing wasn't energizing me. Switched to a new game, and within a few hours I went to my desk and started creating.

@abetterjulie@wandering.shop There was a town building game I had played for quite a few months. It dawned on me I wasn't getting value out of it; it was simply designed for maximum engagement time and to micro-transaction me. Lots of waiting around to collect things to immediately use, and the micro game had a low energy level where you whacked at items a few times and then had to come back in an hour to repeat the process, with no payoff. I stopped the game cold turkey, and am much more at peace and happy with the way I live my life.
