Also, I had a right-hook scare from a cop who couldn't be bothered to use their signal while on my way home. Old Colony Ave. and 4th St. Separated lane there is great, but a LOT of people turn right onto 4th to cross the highway and are in conflict with any cyclists who want to turn left onto 4th on the far side of the intersection. It's always a coin-flip between taking this risk, and taking the risk of riding on the completely-unprotected and much faster/denser Broadway.
