Like where do we think these attacks are coming from? Nation-states exploiting baseband firmware attacks absolutely happen, don't get me wrong, but in the same way "A secure computer is one with power removed", a secure cellphone is one without apps
Frankly, the biggest security hole in every modern cellphone is coming from the Google Play Store

And Google knows it too - because you can't really protect the user from themselves to any meaningful degree; the easiest exploit will always be exploiting the human, especially on an OS that's been in the sights of Project Zero for a *decade*
