@GPJohnston@mastodon.social Not yet. If it rains tonight, I'll go check for prints in the mud tomorrow morning. Photographing a cougar is a long shot but I am patient and determined. @CatherineBabault@mastodon.social one of the hardest wild animals to find, so secretive. Only time I got a real good look at one in the wild was in BC, Knight Inlet on a fishing trip. Traditionally we’ve had a very high density cougar population on the Olympic Peninsula, but I hear biologists are concerned now by low genetic diversity.
