@tinker@infosec.exchange I'm not a kernel developer, but if there are truly a bunch of Linux devs jumping ship to BSD, then are there enough of them to just make a Linux fork instead? I thought the argument against a fork was essentially that there wouldn't be enough personpower to develop it as well as the fork that Linus controls. Am I missing something?

    @jamesmarshall@sfba.social - The fork would have to be of the kernel itself. While I use and have coded and scripted really tiny projects, I am not a developer or have experience in massive software projects. So... I dunno!
