Just thinking about all those people in Ontario in the late 60s and 70s when I was growing up, who laughed at me when I told them about the Greenhouse Effect and how they should stop driving so much.
Forest fires were a rarity then, now Canadians talk about "forest fire season". See the connection, change your lifestyle, put pressure on society to ban fossil fuel use.

@LaChasseuse@mastodon.scot this is precisely why I no longer have a car. I used to love driving, but I just don't feel that it's something I can responsibly do any longer. An electric car would be way out of my price bracket.
