@glyph@mastodon.social I know that there are some Briefcase-packaged apps that have been submitted to the Mac App Store (there's been a couple of bugs reported - such as the need to provide security profiles for binaries that use SSL, and the fact that Tkinter has a 10 year old bug that makes it incompatible with the app store). However, I haven't done it myself, and can't offer much by way of specific advice around sandboxing techniques etc.
