The optimist in me says that we shouldn't be the only ones Finding Out, and *that* is within our power.

@kboyd@phpc.social It's important to think about who "we" is in each sentence. Like, can "we" as in the human species do anything about global climate change? Yes, we can do a whole lot if the "we" is the Chinese nation-state, which is doing a whole lot. Can Americans do anything? Pretty much all that Americans can do at this point is to make sure that their current society ends.
