(I should have continued this with "can Canadians do anything", and given the existence of the tar sands I decided that this was a really rude question for an American to address given that our President keeps threatening aggressive war against you.)

@richpuchalsky@mastodon.social I'm in BC. Our Prime Minister seems to be working toward a vision of pumping the tar sands directly from Alberta into the Pacific, without the permission of (or input from) BC's government & First Nations land owners and stewards. I am not a fan.
