In London City Travelodge. I have a room facing away from the airport, so that's good. But; it faces onto the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). This would be fine if it were not for the facts that a) London is quite warm at the moment and b) the room does not have air conditioning.
Sitting with the window open and a portable fan on, listening to the trains go by on the elevated trackway. I feel like I'm in The Blues Brothers.

@beardie_jamie@mastodon.scot recommend closing the window soon, as the 'breeze' will just warm things up more! And close the curtains. That's... Not ideal for sure :/ Oh wait this was last night never mind. Hopefully you've gone somewhere better!
