Once upon a time, my aunt and uncle took me to an amusement park and told me I could visit any attraction I liked. My aunt suggested the wild rapids ride. My uncle suggested the space roller coaster. I asked to sit in the quiet little chair under a giant tree and watch a young man cut peoples' profiles out of paper. Me, circa age ten. #ThrowbackThursday
