The "Enable AI features" in Copilot Chat is all that's required on the VS Code side. Now for Cursor, something else is afoot, since that extension is not a component.

    @mttaggart@infosec.exchange Actually, a minor detail. In my test box, AI features were enabled. Disabling and re-enabling triggered the fake git.exe. But so did clicking the "Use AI Features button" and proceeding through GitHub auth. @Sempf@infosec.exchange @wdormann@infosec.exchange @sharkfie@infosec.exchange @ajn142@infosec.exchange @ifin@infosec.exchange
