I'm seeing Linus Torvalds support for AI as a possible sign of cognitive impairment.
Even if so it might AIUI take another 20 years before his functioning is clearly inadequate.
But it's something worth considering about every aging human. And with old age beginning at 60 Linus is on the edge of that now.

@skua@mastodon.social ai is already kicking ass and taking names in medicine - just that alone justifies its existence and proliferation - linus is mostly right, he is not rushing to judgement; ai has hit infosec like a mack truck - give him a break and get the license plate
