@mellifluousbox@mastodon.social Yesterday I saw two posters for concerts by local bands next to each other. The first was the worst kind of MS Word abuse I have seen in a very long time. Uncounted differing fonts and sizes, colors, pixelated images etc. Next to it was a smooth and shiny one obviously generated by AI. I never would have thought that the day would come were I'd praise the Comic Sans ugliness of the first one. On your question: I do. But I politely (!) tell them because many still aren't aware.

I also think that if machine-generated "perfection" becomes commoditised we will start to value human mistakes and small sloppiness (in the original meaning) here and there more. There's an interesting analogy in The Expanse series. Plastic surgery is available to almost everyone so the rich people use their imperfections as a status symbol.
