@alex@social.alexschroeder.ch I sometimes boost it to make it visible to followers in a different timezone.
E.g. I posted it in the middle of the night U.S. time but it has relevance, then I may boost it during their day time. Happens perhaps in 1:50 posts.

@masek@infosec.exchange I used to be very against this back when I was a complete timeline reader. But now I often don’t notice anymore. I do like to add replies to my own toots later, though. People interested can look at the thread and people who already saw the first post don’t get duplicates. Doesn’t always work, of course.
