I'll be caring for my partner in Brazil as she recovers from surgery for the next 2 months and I'm trying to figure out what knitting projects I should take with me
I'm currently working on a double knitted scarf for someone else but I don't want to take it because
a) It's bulky
b) It's nearly finished
c) It's for someone else who paid for materials
d) It's on 2mm needles that get bent if I look at them wrong
e) I've put enough effort into it that I will cry if it gets lost or damaged in transit

The urge is to bring like... 6 projects because what if I run out when in reality I probably only need one because I'm not that fast I have yarn for a shawl that I want to make for my partner - I'll definitely bring that I have some 4ply rimu possum/merino that I didn't like for the project I had in mind for it but I haven't decided what I'd do instead I have some 4ply polwarth silk where I hated what I was making and I frogged it - I also don't have a plan for that
