I think it’s for CIS men worried about being sufficiently masculine. That’s a worry that is repeatedly reinforced as boys are growing and relatively few grow beyond that.
I’m sure that a lot of republicans fit that category, but it’s epidemic beyond that.

@gdinwiddie@mastodon.social @dalfen@mstdn.social @DavidBruchmann@mastodon.world If I owned a pharmacy, I would tell every dude coming in with a prescription for ED drugs that "we don't do gender affirming care" and watch them melt down.They'd say, "I'm a man, I was born a man," and I'd say, "Well, God made you a eunuch & you're trying to change God's will with gender affirming care. God decided you should not be procreating, and I'm not going to argue with God. Isn't that what you all say? So I say, everybody gets care or nobody does."
