@trondhjort@hachyderm.io @kevlin@mastodon.social I now use the phrase Economies of Empowerment to characterise the conditions needed for genuine effective execution at speed and scale (yep, it's kinda DP2).
Seems to resonate with the right people.

@matthewskelton@mastodon.social @kevlin@mastodon.social Like the approach, especially the play on the "economies" concept. "Empowerment" is a bit trickier, though, but as long as it is clear that the control and coordination are placed with the teams, it is DP2. More often than not that is a temporary thing, fought for by managers who act as shields. Which do break.
