Oh grumble, so Linus Torvalds is pro-LLM then? I could draw a straight line from "NVidia binary blob module does not violate GPL" (2000s) to "LLMs are ok" but I'd come across as a very cranky old man.

I guess we already established >2 decades ago that Torvalds doesn't understand the purpose of free software licensing, what drives people to use Linux, and what "social justice" is, so meh. Time to consider the "walk away" scenario.
