I guess we already established >2 decades ago that Torvalds doesn't understand the purpose of free software licensing, what drives people to use Linux, and what "social justice" is, so meh.
Time to consider the "walk away" scenario.

Of course, the scenario Torvalds probably hasn't considered is that *it actually gets forked* as-is, with the same governance and maintainers, with an anti-LLM policy, and with him deleted from all authority. But Linux has long since been a Corporate OS and there's not enough power to pull that off.
