Of course, the scenario Torvalds probably hasn't considered is that *it actually gets forked* as-is, with the same governance and maintainers, with an anti-LLM policy, and with him deleted from all authority. But Linux has long since been a Corporate OS and there's not enough power to pull that off.

    The fact that one cannot simply fork Linux, because a zillion corporate interests would lobby *hard* against any attempt, essentially means Linux is fully corporate owned. This is why it's grown into such a "mess", and growing hard, single point dependencies on trash architecture (e.g systemd).
