It was heavenly cool and quiet at the Canal de la Marne au Rhin in the Zorn valley, cut deep into the Voges mountains. Except for the short moment, when a Sybic crossed the viaduct, working an evening peak TER to Metz.

I absolutely love these voies vertes along the French canals. No cars, flat, often good asphalt and almost always in beautiful surroundings. 😍 #LaFranceTractée
