Did I say I really like it? The album ‘Foxtrot’ is seen as a seminal work of prog rock, and ‘Horizons’ is almost too ‘straight’ to be included. But it works and I’m glad it’s in there, it acts as a bit of a palate cleanser between the seriousness of the albums first act and the madness that is ‘Supper’s Ready’

    @SquirrelwithaninvisibleW@mastodon.social I’d completely forgotten about the existence of that, thanks for the reminder! I think you’re right that its purpose, its whole raison d’être, is as a link, or a buffer between, its more substantial neighbours. I’m biased cos of playing the Bach, no doubt, but Horizons doesn’t feel right standing alone.
