saw research re: "authoritarian beliefs as a social contagion," and while I fully acknowledge that seems to happen, I am more interested in what makes some folks more susceptible to falling for the lies of it, whereas others seem to resist the worst parts And I think much of the answer is found by simply paraphrasing the words of one techno-fascist: it's the lack of introspection. IOW folks with stunted interior lives have no interior sense of right and wrong...🤷‍♀️ emotional awareness matters
