Yesterday an old friend let me know his .co.uk domain had expired. His domain had been with BT and then apparently BT sold their domain business to NetworkSolutions. So it had moved to Network Solutions without him knowing it. He last renewed it for ten years... ten years ago. Could I help? Well I made some enquiries. Nominet were able to tell me the name on the domain, and it was not his name or his company name BUT the name of the web company who did his first website in the late 90s. 1/n
