@kimvanwyk@fosstodon.org Yes it's perfect and exactly true. The Boots Theory describes 'scale' in terms of quality, but it works the same way in terms of quantity too.
For example, a big bag of rice costs less per kilo than a small one, but a poor person must buy three of the small bags over time, because they can't afford the big one to begin with.
