I've been around the sun a few times, and I'm STILL amazed I'm able to power my MacBook, with 2 attachable monitors, my audio interface, etc etc on one cable hooked to a 100w power brick, There was a time you needed 100 watts for just for a lightbulb.

@GigaByte4711@whitespashe.uk @rra@post.lurk.org People often point out, correctly, that the whole monochrome-dithering thing is really just an aesthetic. Using normal JPEG compression or scaleable formats for repeating designs, like SVGs, one can still achieve tiny sites with full colour visuals. Something about the posterised/dithered aesthetic does grab the attention though, so maybe they're doing it for that reason :)
