No Pearl walk this morning. We had gone about 400 metres when we heard a large dog barking. We know the dog - it barks at all other dogs, its owner struggles to hold it but always crosses the road away from other dogs. But Pearl said nope, time to go home. And I agreed. We'll go out after lunch along the ridge where there won't be too many other walkers and it will be lovely and sunny.
