Do you ever have such a specific, poignant emotion or combination of emotions for the day that not only do you need a virgin notebook to consider writing it in (not a problem, I could practically open my own stationery store) but you also really can't stomach writing it in your own voice (a problem, it's the only voice I have)?

@harriehq Yes! I’m trying to explore some complicated feelings by composing a short #jazz #BonkWave (or #NotBonkWave) piece. I have no experience composing, or writing jazz and feel very much a fraud for trying to do this. I can hear it in my mind, but the flow state of creativity has yet to happen. It may be that it is one of those moments where I have to “enjoy doing it badly” just to scratch the itch, call it done and try again later. We’ll see what results…
