Linus Torvalds is an important figure for kernel development and the general existence of Linux, but he should not be treated as an authority on everything Linux- or software-adjacent because of that.
For example, it has very little to say what desktop environment he prefers, or if he uses LLMs to develop his personal projects. The world could do with less idolization.
