@fname@kamloops.social @chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca in its last years, Bombardier sold the water bomber business to Longview Aviation (now DeHavilland Canada). But it also sold the plant to real estate developers. De Havilland is taking forever to restart production (will be cl-515). New ones desperately needed. Federal govt not interested because it is a western Canada business.
