@minka @cR0w@infosec.exchange mine if I add a few short tricks of my own? ctrl+c , ctrl+shift+v - ctrl+c copies text, ctrl+v pastes it, we all know that, but sometimes, you need just the text and not all of the formatting that comes with it. ctrl+shift+v usually does that. I find a lot of the time when I'm trying to copy text from a website via a copy to clipboard shortcut, the markup comes with it, and causes some note-taking apps to insert markup where I don't want it, and/or already have it. This is how I work around that. win key + r: opens the run prompt run prompt shortcuts: ncpa.cpl - direct access to the network control panel, without having to figure out where Microsoft hid it this time SystemPropertiesAdvanced - Y'know how sometimes you need to rename your computer, enable RDP and/or modifying ENV vars (like say.... modifying the PATH to include python and pip)? Instead of having to try to find where MS hid the advanced system properties menu, this shortcut takes you to where you want to be instantly. msinfo32 - 99% of everything you'd want to know about the current computer. Hardware components, amount of ram, attached drives, etc. mstsc - Microsoft terminal services client - Direct access to the RDP client from the run prompt
