Good evening. Happy today that in the GP lottery of my local doctor's surgery, I got to see the one with the no nonsense, matter of fact, 'can do' attitude. Bedside manner is all well and good, but some of them are so non-committal and nice but NOTHING HAPPENS. This guy, listen, a few questions, examine, OK, I think it's your heart, not your lungs causing your short breath, I need an Echo to get closer, bosh, turns to computer, turns back, OK, next week OK for you? Done, anything else, no, OK, bye. Also came up that I hadn't seen an MS specialist since we moved here ahem, eleven years ago. OK, sorted that, we need to do it just in case it's a new symptom (I'm aware that I've been unintentionally holding my breath sometimes, perhaps while concentrating on something simple like chopping veg etc, exacerbating the breath shortness obvs.) Bloody months I've been waiting for some sort of action. Minutes to get some. Hurrah. But also grrr..
