Why is privacy conversations are focused on the user as opposed to who’s trying to violate our privacy? If we focus on the individual instead of the systemic issue, aren’t we just allowing the abuse to continue? Why not take out those who are abusing the data collection in the first place? I like to have the data that the things I use produce. I don’t, however, consent to the collection of that data. A part of giving users choice is to choose who gets to listen.
