Just got an email from DHL about my Angy Pants shipment. You know, the Kickstarter thing from earlyer this year, where they explicitly said, and I quote: "if you're in the EU and USA, you'll see that your tariffs will be prepaid, so no hassles later"
I paid 190.13€ for six undies and a stash bag, including shipping - already pretty pricey, but I was okay with that at the time.
Guess what, DHL now said they wand an additional 59.20€ in taxes! That makes the total almost 250€! :neofox_angry:

@cato@chaosfurs.social Angy Paws are in Australia.. there are no import tariffs on clothing from AU to DE, this is just the usual 20% VAT / MWSt and DHL's handling fees. Those weren't supposed to be prepaid.

I wasn't supposed to have to pay EVEN MORE for shipping, and I'm considering just refusing to accept the package and having it sent back to get a refund...
