so glad i set up the approval process for new accounts on ResearchEquals - already caught several potential issues. i am learning a lot about AI generated content, and they're getting very intricate. paper mills are passé, they're now coming to the various repositories etc to lay breadcrumbs of seeming authenticity. any repository/platform that does not do approval, is increasingly being weaponized for this. i am looking at several places that do not have active moderation...
