You know how you spend your whole life hating yourself so you don’t set proper boundaries because you don’t matter anyway? And then you start to love yourself and decide that you deserve boundaries after all? I have a LOT of cleanup still to do from that first era of my life, and one of those poorly defined boundaries just blew up in my face. 😡
