@HeavenlyPossum@kolektiva.social Understand that these are not perfect progressives. That's not going to happen overnight, or maybe ever. This is a long campaign, and the most important thing is to keep pushing the ball forward. It is tempting to be cynical and just declare all is lost, or find fault with everyone trying to fight back against authoritarianism, but that is not going to be a successful strategy. The point of the analysis is we are closer to an important victory than most people think.

@HeavenlyPossum@kolektiva.social Your post on Gillibrand is great. We need to fight these scummy corporate Dems, and call attention to their corruption. Guess the point is that we can do that and battle on another level against the GOP. It is necessary sometimes to form alliance with factions you disagree with in order to defeat a greater evil. That doesn't mean one endorses them, just that you need to deal with the bigger threat.
