@oldguycrusty@mastodon.world @SimonIGroove@kind.social @monkeyninja@10base2.dev question: I won a pizza stone that advertises as for the barbeque, but I've only exclusively used it in my oven. If I'm putting it on a gas grill, do I put it directly on heat or do I put it to one side of the grill while heating up the other burners?
I was just worried about that sudden direct heat making the stone crack.

@antonio106@ottawa.place @oldguycrusty@mastodon.world @SimonIGroove@kind.social You can, absolutely, just don’t put a cold stone on an already hot grill. Put the stone on before you start up the grill and then let them heat up together.
