I have a friend that wants to get away from Google Messages or whatever and doesn't mind losing RCS. What SMS/MMS app do y'all recommend?

@Willow@social.translunar.academy I use the Fossify suite of apps and enjoy them. They make a messages app as well as a lot of other Google/Android replacement apps. https://www.fossify.org/
