why do people think you have to code to do anything on linux? nobody ever said that. what i said is linux *does* do the thing they use it for with less energy than windows does these days. it is simply the more functional tool for most normal computer functions now.

i say "just click thru the menu to install it" and mfs act like i said write your own c compiler in assembly to gain the ability to talk to god

@jtp.bsky.social 99.99% of things an ordinary computer user would want to do on linux can be accomplished through a gui. if you need to use the cli for something it's going to be like fuckin configuring unit files for apache2
