Perhaps they - the fossil fuel enamored political classes - will care if one of the world’s greatest cities burns down due to a Climate Change fueled fire…. They didn’t care about Lytton. Barely bothered to rebuild it.

@chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca No. The answer is no. Master Carney said things are too delicate right now, economically, to worry about the climate. First you need to sort out the economy (has the economy ever been sorted?) then you're allowed to worry about the environment. Yes yes, we'll all have nice things after. You'll see. Those nice things promised for these last many decades are just around the corner. This time for real.
