while there are some similarities—blood vessels engorging are still blood vessels engorging, after all—the sensation feels pretty profoundly different. not rearranged like deck chairs, but rearranged like music. the whole is more than the sum of the parts.
and the whole is... kind of amazing, if we're being honest.
which brings me to the second interesting thing: arousal is pleasurable, now. and the funny thing here is that I thought it already was, but, again, apparently not.

the more i experience New Style Arousal™️, the more i am coming to understand that Old Style Arousal had some serious translation layers bolted around it. NSA is just fizzy and nice all on its own, and can be acted upon.
