With NSA I can just... vibe along and enjoy it, even if nothing happens. if i did that with OSA, it would eventually curdle into disappointment.
yes, even if i tried to be reasonable and adult about it, cause not every boner turns into an orgasm, but it was still frustrating, on an unavoidably visceral level, if it didn't. this was actually a continual source of angst for me because i felt like i should be better and more high-minded about it. but it just didn't work that way.

and now in retrospect im looking back and realizing how much i just... didn't actually enjoy OSA. it was uncomfortable on its own and also kind of onerous. it was this demand my body put on me to orgasm or else feel shitty later. …
