@bragefuglseth@sunny.garden Talking about how apps look on other DEs, I don't like how Adwaita apps follow the set icon theme. It causes ugly mismatches or even straight up missing icons if you use basically any "custom" icon.
I had to force load the Adwaita icon theme in Bazaar to not ship a broken experience on KDE. But this sadly also has the side effect of changing the window control icons.

Since GTK5 is planning to drop icon theme support: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/work_items/5007 I decided to ship every icon myself, even if it may already be included in Adwaita, just to avoid missing icons.
