My moment has finally come (this is on a project I co-maintain)

Oh no. I started listening to audiobooks during work-outs as well (because I've run out of podcasts to listen to), and now I'm afraid I'll run out of audiobooks soon too.

Hmm, I feel like it's not intentional that #rust-analyzer uses 523k inotify watches.

Yesterday @camelCaseNick, @pabloyoyoista and I met again. We talked about local community building, worked on the postmarketOS handbook and continued cleaning up old code. #GNOME #GNOMEHH #Hamburg

Was wondering my computer was acting up, apparently something in my editor managed to consume 45 GB memory (and rising) before it was killed.

I was inspired by @hbons development threads to post a bit about the app I'm currently prototyping. It's a small app to configure Bluetooth headphones (e.g. toggle active noise canceling). Currently, device scanning and filtering is implemented as well as connecting to the device, but it's not hooked up to the UI yet. #GNOME #GNOMEApps #libadwaita

My favorite comment I read today about the #X11 removal: " TCP/IP is over 50 years old but nobody is calling for it's replacement. 😉 ". Really speaks for itself.

Thanks to an update of the underlying libraries the next release of #Hieroglyphic will automatically use hardware acceleration (i.e. NPU) when available, improving efficiency. #GNOME #GNOMEApps #GNOMECircle #libadwaita

Is there any good reason to require an #API key for an API if said key is written two lines above in a public git repository? #programming

#Eyedropper now supports the new session restore feature, so it will automatically restore picked colors across reboots. Thanks to @AdrianVovk for the excellent guide! #GNOME #GNOMEApps #GnomeCircle

@regendans I'm not sure if that article was written by AI, but it has a lot of errors/inaccuracies, so I wouldn't really want to rely on it.

I wish there wasn't such a strong reliance on tokio in #Rust #RustLang

I'm so frustrated right now. Started a new project, super excited about working on it and now have to stop, due to hardware issues with it.

I just received an AI-generated issue about filtering out AI-generated content. Oh the irony…

Finally found the time to update to #GNOME 50.beta

Today's API adventure: Server responds with a list of files and their size, half of them are off by exactly 44 bytes.

I wish git forges had an option to only notify me about important issue updates (instead of all comments), i.e. notify me about a maintainer posting a status update or someone finding a workaround, but not about any 'I'm also having this problem' comments.
