Very interesting paper! For me, the stand out part was section 6, which finally filled in the holes in my understanding of how these systems "steal labor", a phrase which I had often come across but could only loosely understand the concrete meaning of.
Really ties into the colonialist aspect too, which has been on my mind lately.
Anything in particular stand out to you?

@ipsquiggle@sunny.garden I enjoyed and shared the preprint, and while Beer and Weizenbaum are cited for other crimes, I still believe the primary motive for the Chatbot push is the ELIZA Effect, the purpose of which is law enforcement, which it is already doing.
