@nxskok@cupoftea.social Thirteen grades are still a lot! A+/A/A-/B+/B/B-/C+/C/C-/D+/D/D-/F. In most cases that really doesn't make sense. For example, if someone is getting their pilot license. Would you fly with someone who as a B- or a C+? Where's the line? Clearly the right answer is that a person is either competent to fly a plane or not. Also, I really like the point @belehaa@wandering.shop brought up elsewhere in this thread: You don't necessarily have to "fail" if you can't show competency -- you're just not a pilot.
