A friend, who is an expert on the North was contacted by the NYT who was planning an article supporting the US position on Greenland. She spent the entire interview educating the reporter on Greenland and why the US was out of line and then told them to ask their editor some questions. The article has not been published. Don't think your pushback doesn't matter.
